If you are interested in playing one of these essential characters, you must be active for at least 1 month before applying as well as have 20+ IC posts on one character.
These spots require the player to also be active and reliable. We ask that you prove you are capable of staying active before applying for this position. It's a good idea to have another character for a few weeks before applying for one of these positions.

This position can be filled in a few ways:[break]
Applying for it. When applying for it, we ask that you apply with a Pokemon Team that is based with different Pokemon types than the other Pokelords. They may also have more then three to start (6 max). [break]
Battling for it. When a player defeats one of the Pokelords they are allowed to take that Pokelords position. The defeated Pokelord is then bumped back down to a Knight. They are aloud to request a rematch at any time to regain their title.

If a player challenges a Pokelord who has been inactive for over two weeks, the player wins the battle by default. If an Pokelord has been inactive for over a month, they will lose their title and the spot will be reopened. These rules do not count if the player has posted in the OOC forms that they will be away for such and such time.
Each Royal Knight have Pokemon that suit the Region they are in. They may also have more then three to start (6 max). When applying to be an Royal knight we request that you pick from these types:

The Wetlands: Water, Ice, Normal and Electric[break]

The Greenlands: Grass, Poison, Bug, and Fairy[break]

If someone from your region has already picked one of the Pokemon types for your region, we request that you pick something different. We will cross out any that have already been picked.

Each time a player battles you and they win, you are required to give them a 'medal' this medal indicates that they beat you and can move on to the next Royal knight in that Region. If a player wants to gain the medals of the other Regions, they must start with the lowest level Royal Knight and work their way up again.

If a player challenges an Royal Knight who has been inactive for over two weeks, the player wins the battle by default. If an Royal Knight has been inactive for over a month, they will lose their title and the spot will be reopened. (These rules do not count if the player has posted in the OOC forms that they will be away for such and such time)
Squires are trained by the Royal Knights. The usually live on the same land or in the stadium of which the Royal Knight is challenged. There are typically 2-5 squires per Knight who train in either secondary types of their Knight or first type as well.

The elders of the Regions are often the ones who give children their first Pokemon at the age of ten. They have a tendency of traveling the Region they reside in twice a year. During these travels they visit each city, town and village to hand out the Pokemon to the children. If a child reaches the age of ten before the travels, they are able to travel to the Elder to receive the Pokemon, or wait until the Elder visits them. Most elders spend the rest of their time studying Pokemon and their natures in ways that wont anger the Pokemon Gods.

Each Elder will "mysteriously" find 2 fossilized Pokemon to study at some point. [break]
