site guidelines of everlong awakening
General Rules
Register your character's First Last name in correct capitalization. Example: Ash Ketchum.
Everlong Awakening is rated T for Teen. Content may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and infrequent use of strong language.
There is no word count. We only ask that you post as much as the other or work out an agreement. Saying that, this is not a rapid-fire site. No one liners, please! If you'd like a word count, set one for yourself.
Please write in game posts in third person past tense. You are welcome to create a diary for your character if you wish to explore their adventures in first person.
This site is one account per character; every character needs their own separate account. OOC accounts are reserved for staff members. Member OOC names are tracked in our Who’s Who thread.
All face claims must be in the Animanga artwork. You are allowed to choose any character from any Anime, Manga, or Japanese styled game (i.e. Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts).
You are allowed as many characters as you can handle and no more. If any character doesn't make the activity check staff will archive the character. If canon, the original player may ask for it back after a month if nobody has taken it and their activity has improved. When creating characters, please keep in mind the site's ratio!
Your grammar should be okay. We all make mistakes and we know not everyone talks proper English as the first language and all. We don't nag on grammar here. We do encourage our members to try their best though. We do, however, look down upon chat speak in IC posts. Please no b4 or gr8 or anything like that. Also, please refrain from using *actions* inside the IC posts. In the Discord, Shoutbox, and OOC posts it is allowed.
Activity checks will be random. They will consist of each character posting with a thread they have posted to twice in the seven days before replying to the check. If a character has been accepted 5 days before the activity check, they are allowed to not contribute.

In Character Rules
This site supports characters of all ages. However, keep in mind that age can be limiting. A very young character wouldn’t be seen walking the streets alone. That being said, a very old character wouldn’t be climbing walls and chasing after Rapidashes either.
All characters must be born within the Kingdom of Everlong. This is because the current plot will not allow outsiders from the other lands. Characters are welcome to 'try' and leave the Kingdom, however, you are not allowed to say they made it out. They can make it to the border of the land. Then you must either wait for an Admin/Mod to post or have your character turn back around.
Because of the complications with the plot, pokemorphs are not allowed. No character can be a "human/pokemon hybrid", by supernatural occurrence, birth, nor genetic manipulation. Pokemorphs cannot be found in the wild nor can they be captured.
There is no limit to the number of open threads you may have on this site. However, please try to keep a timeline on your threads and don’t enter more than you can handle.
Please keep in mind you may only have one catching thread at a time. However, there are exceptions to this rule. If you and another member are exploring an area together, you may request a mod to join. After all, wild pokemon don't only show up when you are alone. You may also request a mod to bring in an NPC. These are characters that you might need to help move along your thread. You don't need a mod to roleplay a simple waitress giving you food. But, if you want to kidnap that waitress you are probably going to need a mod to play her for you. Use your judgement on this. If you aren't sure, ask.
You cannot kill off another member's character unless they ask you to do so you have express permission from that member. We don't need that ic drama going on in our ooc area. If the character is canon, the canon’s owner needs to speak to a staff member first before killing them off. We could either accept the death, not accept the death, or ask you to drop the character instead.
